Scholarships Now Available!

Thanks to generous support from the Autzen and Jackson Foundations, Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center was able to offer scholarships to six of the eight schools that participated in our education programs in Fall 2007.

It is one of our strongest missions to continue providing scholarship assistance for as many needy schools and children as we can. Through the generous support of a multitude of donors, we maintain the Opal Creek Learning Forests Scholarship Fund for this purpose.

Are you a Marion County school interested in doing a program with us in Spring 2008? Then you are eligible to apply for scholarship money! A generous grant from the Jubitz Family Foundation has enabled us to extend financial assistance for schools that fall into this category. To apply, fill out and mail or e-mail our school scholarship application.

We are consistently pursuing monies for our scholarship fund. Keep checking back for updates on available funding.

Please contact Program Director Katie Ryan, 503-892-2782 with questions about the scholarships or our education programs.
