Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center provides opportunities for schools, community organizations, businesses, and educational groups to gather and experience the Opal Creek Wilderness and Scenic Recreation Area. We can accommodate groups up to 50 participants (depending on age of group) at our education center in Jawbone Flats. Call us at 503-892-2782 or email opalcreek@opalcreek.org for information about educational activities, workshops, corporate retreats, guided field hikes, or to schedule a slide presentation for your school, office, or work. Our schedule fills up quickly so call early to reserve dates for your event or gathering!

Please call our main office at 503-892-2782, between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday to book your group or reserve a cabin. We need at least two weeks advance notice for group stays and will reserve your requested dates upon receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit at our office. You will be sent a Preparation Packet with further information on lodging, maps, and liability release forms. (Full payment must be received five working days before you arrive).
